Introducing the KCMO Needs to Know Series

by | Mar 5, 2019 | KCMO Needs to Know

Before you cast your ballot, make sure you know what is really on the line.

As we near the Primary Election on April 2nd, I want to spend the last few weeks of this campaign sharing some of the important ideas and insights I have learned from people just like you. I also want you to really think about what this campaign of ours is about and what we are trying to change. I call this series of articles and videos, KCMO Needs to Know.

Our City leaders have spent too long acting in less than transparent ways. They have failed to adhere to the wishes of the public, and too often treated us with a patronizing attitude. We have a generational chance to remake our City Council in a way that meets the needs of average citizens, in a truly open and honest fashion. It is that transparency that I hope to bring to you as I hopefully enlighten and inspire you to join us, and make our cause your cause too.

Whether you are joining our effort or not, share these articles and videos with everyone you know, so they can ask the tough questions of those running for office, and make informed choices that will chart our path for the decades to come.

by Robert Westfall, Candidate, 4th District At-Large, Kansas City, MO.
Join this campaign that is bringing a culture of true accountability to City Hall, and to those in positions of power and authority. We’re also holding each other accountable for our own actions while we work together to create a level playing field for all citizens of Kansas City. Share these ideas, and get others to join our fight.

SUPPORT
THE CAMPAIGN.

As much as I want this campaign to be about ideals and the quest to create a more functional and responsive City Hall, I also have to be realistic that it will take money to get the word out and to give resources to those who want to volunteer on the campaign.

With that understanding, I ask for you to consider giving even just a little amount so that we can have a fighting chance against the powerful interests groups that want to keep the status quo in order to keep their candidates in office.

If you feel strong enough to make such a profound gesture of support, please do so with my deepest gratitude. Click on the button below to make a quick and secure donation.
